Model DMC-1 Standard Message On Hold player

DMC1 utilises our well proven MP3 engine and High Quality Amplifier to provide the ideal solution for Message On Hold applications. An important new feature for 2011 is the ability to play MP3 Message files from both its internal Flash Memory or from a standard SD Flash Card.

All DMC devices now have built in High Reliability Flash Memory, which can optionally be used to store On Hold messages. The internal memory is automatically loaded as soon as an SD Flash Card is inserted into its SD card socket. If the SD card is then removed, DMC will use the internal memory to play its message. If the card is left inserted, it will use the SD card as the message source. This new feature will further improve the long term reliability of your Message On Hold solutions!

We have also released an innovative new feature for the DMC range being a MESSAGE CHANGE SWITCH. The switch is recessed so that it cannot be accidentally pressed and can be used by your customers to change the Message that DMC plays. Each press will command DMC to select and play the next message and when the last message is selected, the next press will instruct DMC to play the first message again.

Model DMC2 Message On Hold with Encryption

DMC2 incorporates all of the new features of our DMC1 device and in addition provides our popular message Encryption facility. It is inexpensive, quick and easy to use!

Our Encryption facility allows you to prevent copying or any unauthorised use of your valuable productions. To use Encryption, all you need to do is to use our supplied Encryption program. This program will Encrypt a typical MP3 file in less than 15 seconds. Our DMC2 device will only play Encrypted MP3 files and these files, if copied cannot be used in any device other than a Natcomm Encryption play device.

DMC2 is also specifically designed to work with our Email Message Update program. This program simplifies the process of transferring Message update files from your PC to the Flash Card and is ideal for those customers that are not PC experts.

Under normal circumstances, the user needs to:

1. Identify the PC drive letter of the built in or external card programmer
2. Delete the old message on the Flash card
3. Manually transfer the new message to the Flash card

Our program performs all of these steps automatically, by simply double clicking the attachment in the email. It also encrypts the file at the same time it saves it to the card. Please see Encryption Facility for more information.

Model DMC3 Time Programmable Message On Hold

DMC3 incorporates an Intelligent Real Time Clock accessory, which will automatically play specified Messages at different times of the day, days of the week, or for special periods such as the Christmas Holiday.

DMC3 can also be set to stop play at the expiration of a rental contract, ready to start play again after a contract has been renewed. Timetable instructions for DMC3 are quickly and easily set up using our supplied Dealer Control program. Please see Time Programmable Message Play Facility for more information.

ENCRYPTION FACILITY

Our unique Encryption facility is designed to protect your valuable productions from unauthorised use, editing or copying. Also, if you are involved in the Background Music industry, it is now a regulatory requirement that all commercial music MUST be ENCRYPTED.

Encryption is a NO CHARGE option on all Natcomm Digital Audio devices, with the exception of our very low cost DMC device, where the additional circuitry has a cost of $20 per unit (excl GST).

Using Encryption is quick and easy. All you need to do is encrypt your MP3 files using our supplied Encryption program, which takes just a few seconds.

You can Encrypt a single file, or a complete folder of files with a single action. Once your file is encrypted, it cannot be opened, altered or used in any device other than a Natcomm unit which is configured for Encryption.

Similarly, our Encryption devices cannot play standard MP3 files or any file other than those encrypted with our program.

The same Encryption program is used for ALL of our products ensuring standardisation of the processes.

EMAIL FILE TRANSFER PROGRAM

An Email Message Update Program has been developed for use with our Encryption facility. This program simplifies the process of transferring Message update files from your PC to the Flash Card. It is ideal for those customers that are not PC experts.

• Delete the old message on the Flash card
• Manually transfer the new message to the flash card

Our program performs all of these steps automatically, by simply double clicking the attachment in the email. It also encrypts the file at the same time it saves it to the card.

This Email program is suitable for use with ALL Natcomm Digital Audio products which are fitted with the encryption facility (except BMS). The program is supplied at NO CHARGE.

TIME PROGRAMMABLE MESSAGE PLAY FACILITY

Our unique Time Programmable Message play facility is designed to automatically change the Message or Music that our device is set to play, at any future time or date. This option consists of a battery backed internal real time clock circuit, which can be supplied with ANY Natcomm Digital Audio device.

The large capacity of the SD Flash cards supplied with our devices allows for multiple files to be loaded onto a single card. Up to 20 individual Messages or Music Folders can then be programmed with specific time and date play information, using our supplied Dealer Control program. This facility can also be used to START play and STOP play at specified times or dates, or simply STOP play altogether at the expiry of a contract period.

Applications include:

• Scheduling different messages to play within specified times/dates
• Having different messages in the morning, afternoon and evening
• Having different messages for the weekends
• Having different messages for specific days of the week
• Automatic time programmed change to and from a Christmas On Hold message

Step 1 Install : Open your Dealer Control Program

This program is suppled at No Charge to all Natcomm Dealers. It is self loading and will install direct onto your Desktop ready for frequent use.

Step 2 Enter : Set Play Dates & Times

From the Main Menu, Enter Set Play Date & Times. All Messages loaded onto your card will be displayed in loaded order, on the left hand side of the programming screen.

Step 3 : Program first Message

Click on the First Message to Highlight it.

1. Enter the Start and End Dates for the period you wish it to play, otherwise leave them set to Every.
2. Enter the Start and End Times that apply. If there are no specific time periods, leave them set to Every.
3. To play on particular days of the week, de-select Every Day and then select the required days.

Step 4 : Program remaining Messages

Repeat this same sequence for All Loaded Messages. Note - If any Messages are to play at all times and days, then you can leave it UNCHANGED, as these are the default setting for each Message.

Step 5 : Save Timetable to Flash Card

When programming is complete, Click on the Save Icon. A file containing this complete timetable (called Set.tbl) and a Name File (called Set.nam) are now saved to your Flash Card.
