Making announcements over a PA System from a PABX handset is an extremely important business tool. However, not all PABX systems have the ability to do this or the cost of fitting this option to a PABX can be quite expensive. In particular, many new IP based PABX solutions do not provide for Paging facilities.

Our PA Switches are designed to solve these problems, because they can be used with ANY PABX solution and they are extremely cost effective.

EASY INSTALLATION

There are 2 models in our range and both are designed to be connected to a standard analogue PABX extension. They are provided with a high quality line isolation transformer which plugs directly into the PA Switch and the other end has a 3.5mm Audio connector which connects direct to the LINE IN port of a Paging Amplifier. A 12V Power Adaptor is supplied with PA Switch.

EASY OPERATION

Once installed, PABX users need only call the Extension Number that PA Switch is connected to and they will be able to make their PA announcement.

THERE ARE TWO MODELS IN OUR RANGE

Model PA1 – terminates the announcement after a fixed period of time or when the user presses any DTMF digit on their handset.

Model PA2 - terminates the announcement on detection of hang up tones, which occur as soon as the user hangs up.

PA2 is designed to detect standard Australian Hang Up tones and will automatically hang up upon detection of the 3rd tone.

PA2 can also hang up after a fixed period of time or when the user presses any DTMF digit on their handset.
