Will let you know you have an Incoming Telephone Call

by Switching ON a Light, Horn or Siren

Ring Indicator is designed to let you know whenever there is an incoming call, by controlling electrical equipment such as a Horn or Lights, which are connected to it.

The attached electrical equipment can then either be TURNED ON and OFF in exact sequence with the incoming ring pattern (cadence) until the call is answered, or it can be SWITCHED ON and left ON until the call is answered.

Equipment that operates on 12 Volts can be connected direct to Ring Indicator.
Equipment that operates on 240 Volts must be connected via the POwer Control Unit accessory (see below) or a separate 240V Relay (not supplied).

Ring Indicator has an Internal Relay which will automatically close and open in exact sequence with the incoming ring of an incoming call, until the call is answered or ceases. Alternatively, the Internal Relay can be configured to CLOSE and remain Closed until the call is answered or ceases.

The Internal Relay provides a Dry Relay contact, rated for up to 1A at 12V. A junction box with screw terminals is provided, which connects direct to Ring Indicator to provide a convenient method to connect electrical equipment which can run from 12V.

Ring Indicator can also be used with our inexpensive 'plug in' accessory, to control electrical equipment which runs from 240V.

Ring Indicator will operate from either a 12V AC or DC power source (min of 200mA).
A 12VAC power adaptor is provided with each unit.

Accessories

SIREN

An optional SIREN accessory is available with Ring Indicator. The siren connects direct to Ring Indicator and does not need any external power.

The SIREN accessory outputs up to 110dB and is therefore suitable for small factories. A volume adjustment knob allows for the ideal volume to be set for individual environments.

The SIREN accessory with volume adjustment sells for $A69.00 incl GST.

POWER CONTROL UNIT

The optional Power Control Unit (PCU) will allow you to connect an Electrical Device such as a Light, Horn, Speaker etc, which connect to the normal 240V Electricity Supply.

PCU is designed for quick and easy 'plug in' user installation. Simply connect the POWER PLUG of the PCU to your electricity supply and the POWER SOCKET to your electrical equipment. The PCU then connects direct to Ring Indicator with a supplied 'curly cord adaptor'.

PCU is available in two models.

• Model PCU -1 is configured in a NORMALLY ON configuration, so that your equipment will be switched ON, unless commanded by an RTA device.
• Model PCU -2 is configured in a NORMALLY OFF configuration, so that your equipment will be switched OFF, unless commanded by an RTA device.
• Model PCU -2 should be used with Ring Indicator
