The DS2 is an indoor control module that can be used with any of the Natcomm door phone range, DP2, DP3 or DP5. The DS2 provides an analog (PSTN) connection (line in port) and has a phone extension port (line out port) for connection of a handset that can be used to take calls from the door phone. In the absence of a door phone call the handset connects to the line in port.

The unit includes an internal 5REN ring generator to ring connected analog phones when a visitor presses the door phone call button. After answering the call, the phone keypad can be used to allow entry by operating a relay contact within the DS2.

The DS2 can provide extended installation economy by allowing two Natcomm door phones to be connected in parallel to allows either door phone to ring the connected line or handset. The package comes with two RJ11 line cords, power adaptor, interface connection box and user guide.
