The DS6 is an indoor control module that can be used with any of the Natcomm door phone range, DP2, DP3 or DP5. The DS6 provides an PBX connection through a PBX extension port.

The unit will signal an off-hook state when a visitor presses the door phone call button. The PBX (when programmed for hot-dial) can then route the call to one or more phones. After answering the call, the keypad of a connected phone can be used to allow gate or door entry by operating two relay contacts within the DS6. When the call ends, the DS6 hang-up detector ends the call to the door phone.

The DS6 also includes DTMF dialling of a programmed number as an alternative to hot-dialling. The package comes with a RJ11 line cord, power adaptor, interface connection box and user guide.
