Our PA Switches are designed to allow a Public Address (PA) system to be connected to any PBX system, so that Announcements can be made from ANY Telephone Extension at ANY time.
THERE ARE TWO MODELS IN OUR RANGE
For Connection to an Analog Extension, PSTN Line, FXS Port, FXO port or an ATA Analog Telephone Adaptor
1) Model PA2+ Analogue Connect Interface.
PA2+ has an Internal Line Isolation unit (LIU), which means that you Connect PA2+ Direct to the Amplifier with the supplied RCA cable.
An Anti-Pop circuit is Integrated within PA2+ to eliminate or greatly reduce the ‘Pop’ that can be experienced by a small number of Amplifiers when a Paging Call is connected.
An Anti-Hum circuit is Integrated within PA2+ to which will eliminate or greatly reduce the ‘Hum’ that can occasionally be induced into Audio Systems from Earth Loop issues or Electromagnetic Interference from nearby equipment.
2) Model PA-SIP - SIP Connect model is designed to connect direct to ANY Network port of an IP PBX Phone System.
PA-SIP connects to the PBX Network via DHCP. A Windows program is provided which will scan the Network and Connect you to the Admin panel of PA-SIP.
PA-SIP will operate with ALL PBX Systems, including 3CX, RingCentral etc.
PA-SIP has an Internal Line Isolation unit (LIU), which means that you Connect PA-SIP Direct to the Amplifier with the supplied RCA cable.

Model PA2+ INSTALLATION
1. PA2+ Should be connected direct to a PBX Analog Extension, an FXS Port or an ATA . It can also be connected to a PSTN Line or an FXO Port.
2. Connect PA2+ to your Amplifier 'Line In' port, using the supplied RCA cable.
A Line Isolation Safety Transformer (LIU) is incorporated within PA2+ to prevent the possibility of 240V AC Voltage inadvertently connecting to PA Switch or the PBX System.
3. Connect the supplied 12VDC Power Adaptor.
4. The Default settings will suit almost all applications. However if you need a special setting, you can now program the PA2+ via DTMF tones with a standard Analog handset.
Model PA-SIP INSTALLATION
1. Our PA-SIP Switch should be connected direct to ANY Network Point of the IP or Cloud PBX Analog Extension.
2. Our supplied Software will automatically provide you with the full IP Address details (and MAC address) and allow you to enter the Extension Number set up for Paging.
3. Connect the PA-SIP Switch to your Amplifier 'Line In' port, using the supplied RCA cable.

EASY OPERATION
Once installed, PBX users need only :
1) Call the Extension Number (or Telephone number) that PA or PA-SIP Switch is connected to.
2) PA2+or PA-SIP Switch will then Answer the call and connect the call to the Paging Amplifier.
3) The User will now be able to make their PA announcement.
4) The User can then Hang Up. An Automatic Disconnect circuit will then terminate the call.
