Benefits

Making announcements over a PA System from a PBX handset is an extremely important business tool. However, not all PBX systems have the ability to do this or the cost of fitting this option to a PBX can be quite expensive. In particular, many new IP based PBX solutions do not provide for Paging facilities.

Our PA Switches are designed to solve these problems, because they can be used with ANY PBX solution and they are extremely cost effective.

Our PA Switches are designed to allow a Public Address (PA) system to be connected to any PBX system, so that Announcements can be made from ANY Telephone Extension at ANY time.

THERE ARE THREE MODELS IN OUR RANGE

For Connection to an Analog Extension, PSTN Line, FXS Port, FXO port or an ATA Analog Telephone Adaptor

1) Model PA1 – terminates the announcement after a user set period of time or when the user presses any DTMF digit on their handset on completion of the announcement.

2) Model PA2 - terminates the announcement on detection of hang up tones, which occur as soon as the user hangs up.

PA2 is designed to detect standard Hang Up tones (or silence) and will automatically hang up upon detection of the 3rd tone.

PA2 can also hang up after a fixed period of time or set  to hang up when the user presses any DTMF digit on their handset.

3) Model PA-SIP - This new model is designed to connect direct to ANY Network port of an IP PBX Phone System.

PA-SIP terminates the announcement on detection of hang up tones, which occur as soon as the user hangs up.

PA-SIP can also hang up after a fixed period of time or set  to hang up when the user presses any DTMF digit on their handset.

PA-SIP has an Integrated Isolation Transformer to prevent (or redcuce) the possibility of electrical spikes or surges from the Paging Amplifier damaging your IP Network.

PA-SIP has an Integrated 'Anti-Pop' circuit to prevent (or reduce) the possibility of a 'Pop' from the Paging Amplifier passing to the Paging Speakers from an Amplifier not designed for Telephone Line connection.
