Other Applications
For even more Complex Applications, Multiple RCU’s (any combinations of RCU1’s and RCU2’s) can be connected to the same Telephone Extension (or line) and every relay can be programmed with its own unique code and relay closure time.
Then a user can call the extension number and either dial an individual relay code, or even enter a number sequence where several codes are dialled to command multiple relays to respond.
For example pressing 12345, could control 5 separate relays, each controlling its own device or access. DTMF 51423 could be dialled to achieve the same result, as each RCU relay can be set to only look for its own unique code in a sequence.

Accessories
POWER CONTROL UNIT
The Power Control Unit (PCU ) provides for completely safe and automatic connection or disconnection of a 240V (110VAC to 250VAC, 10 Amps) electricity supply to all attached equipment, when used in conjunction with an RCU or RTA device. This unit is designed for quick and easy user installation. Simply connect the POWER PLUG of the PCU to your electricity supply and the POWER SOCKET to your electrical equipment. The PCU then connects direct to the RCU or RTA with a supplied 'curly cord adaptor'.
PCU is available in two models.
-
PCU -1 is configured in a NORMALLY ON configuration, so that your equipment will be switched ON, unless commanded by an RCU or RTA device.
- PCU -2 is configured in a NORMALLY OFF configuration, so that your equipment will be switched OFF, unless commanded by an RCU or RTA device.
